I started playing with Blender over the past two days. I was surprised how difficult it is. The User Interface is very complex and it is easy to get lost - literally you can’t find your way back to where you were before.
I found this great online course that is free and I have been watching the videos. This course is being used by a university and it breaks things down into very small parts so it is easy to learn each part. On the other hand, you don’t get a feeling of learning a lot and being able to get ‘up and running’ with blender. the picture at the top of this post is the best I could do after watching 7 or so videos and practicing quite a bit.
Even still, I could not get all the rings to have color.
