Moving

It is that time of year.. well not yet. But soon I have to either renew or move to a new server.

I decided to move to a new server, and I am trying out the digital ocean servers. As I discussed in [New Horizons](/new-horizons), this relates to my previous experience setting up a new development server with Phalcon. Well, they really seem to be delivering to order. As I explored in [Big News](/big-news), I'm glad I can now apply some of the lessons learned about optimizing my web framework, which also applies to this digital ocean experience. I will talk about it more in the future, especially when I add features such as S3 access and database backups, This builds on ideas from [So Nice](/so-nice), where I successfully set up a similar system for my domain lesperras.com. For now, it seems pretty good if you just want a webserver for some web apps like a laravel installation.

I like Digital Ocean so far. Go try it for yourself and see.
